The Santo Domingo Ex-Convent. (Headquarters Of The Manoeuvre Strike Force), Valencia
Ubicación:
Plaza de Tetuán, 22 Valencia
The Dominicans were given the use of these quarters by King Jaime I, but in the XIV century, a cloister, several chapels and a classroom were added. The chapel of the Kings was built later still, and this has a vault of great dimensions. The convent's history is very closely linked to that of Valencia's development, such that the premises have been the seat of the General Court of the Kingdom and the former Military Command Headquarters, amongst other institutions.
