THE CAMINO DEL CID CONSORTIUM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DUE TREATMENT OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The CAMINO DEL CID CONSORTIUM is a Spanish nonprofit public entity made up by the provincial councils of Burgos, Soria, Guadalajara, Zaragoza, Teruel, Castellón, Valencia and Alicante. The entity’s identification number is P0900749C and it has its registered offices at C/ Madrid 24, Burgos - SPAIN. The Consortium is ruled by its Statutes, published in the Official Provincial Gazette of Burgos on 2nd February 2015.

 

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Article 3 of the Statutes specifies that the mission objective of this Consortium is "the definition, development and spread of tourism related to The Way of El Cid (Camino del Cid)". In order to meet these objectives we process your personal data in the way described below:

  • Individual user information: submission of tourist-related information and documents about The Way of El Cid and about the activities, contests and deals developed by the entity.
  • Information from companies and services related to the tourist route: free advertising of companies and services.

 

WHAT TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?

We do not request any data considered most sensitive under the European Data Protection Act. The Consortium ensures that personal data are only accessible to people in the organization and data will only be shown at the request of their owner, provided that s/he is duly accredited.

 

DO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES?

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless you expressly consent us to do so or we have a valid legal ground for the processing of personal data. In the case of commercial data collected from companies and services related to The Way of El Cid or companies and services that get free advertising services on our website, the only data available to the general public are the data provided by the companies or services or the data included in public databases.

 

USER RIGHTS

While it goes without saying, we are legally obliged to inform you about the following: you “own” your personal data. Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right, at any time, to access, correct, delete and limit the processing of your data. Access requests should be made via email. Note that email requests should be sent from the same email address you included in the request template or you provided when disclosing your data, or by any other means that confirms your identity and your right of access. PERSONAL DATA AFTER THE TERMINATION OF BUSINESS ACTIVITY

In the event this Consortium shuts down activities, it will destroy all the personal data collected so as to ensure the safety and proper use of the personal data disclosed by users. It will only keep personal data that it is legally obliged to keep and it will keep the data as long as required or permitted to do so by law.
