Palace of the Counts of Oliva or Ducal de Osuna Palace, Oliva

Ubicación:

Carrer Comare, Palau y las Torres Oliva

The building, in the Gothic Renaissance style, experienced important changes in the XVI century. Its remains have been taken advantage of, to be incorporated in the surrounding houses. At present, all that remains of the palace are the corner towers and part of the walls. Originally it had a square layout, with four round towers. Investigations demonstrate that it had a domed ground floor and a weaponry hall with Renaissance ornamentation, from which stood out a frieze painted onto the brick, part of which remains in the Hispanic Society of America (New York).
