The landscape we are inviting you to view is not an outstanding natural space, nor is it a historical or artistic building, or even of great photogenic beauty. However, for those of us who knew this area before 2008, when the project of changing the farm of La Rasa began, it is amazing how in a few years, a landscape of unending wheat fields has been transformed into one of the largest areas of fruit trees in the country. A veritable sea of anti-hailstone netting and countless rows of apple trees, arranged with the greatest precision and equipped with the latest technology to grow in the best conditions.
Nobody will be left indifferent when they follow the road nearly 3.7km long that divides the farm and which has become a tourist attraction for visitors to El Burgo de Osma because of the Soria Apple Route.
- Access by car: from the SO-P4228 road (Navapalos to Vildé) where it is easy to park. There is a small area accessible from the downwards lane (before a bend). It is a small viewpoint from where the immensity of the landscape can be appreciated.
- Access for people with limited mobility: there are no infrastructures adapted for people with limited mobility.
- Legal protection: it does not form part of any protected natural areas. Seasonality: any time of the year.
- Recommendations, what to see and do: it is worth stopping in Navapalos to see its traditional architecture, or stop next to the River Douro by the road bridge.
