The Way of El Cid (Camino del Cid route) offers the opportunity to know some of the most important places connected with this historical figure, following a route that powerfully evokes the Middle Ages. It crosses Spain over a distance of more than 2000km, through regions of great historical, artistic and natural value, many of them little known and very distant from the typical tourist sites associated with this country. It can be followed by car, on MTB bikes along country tracks, on foot or by cycling tourism on minor roads with very little traffic. All the routes are signposted.

The Way of El Cid Consortium has now published a brochure in English, available in any of the tourist information offices on the Way. It contains information about El Cid, the different routes forming this Way, the most important places, and some travel advice, as well as a map of the route.
