Tall vegetation in spring, approaching Alcubilla del Marqués, Alcubilla del Marqués

After the wine-cellars of Pedraja de San Esteban, the track continues up a small hill to an electricity pylon, where the field is ploughed and it is hard to decide which is the right way. Continue along the track between the fields and it gradually becomes clearer. From the top, the track goes down to the valley of the Madre rivulet and continues to Alcubilla del Marqués. In spring, the vegetation might cover this part of the track. In that case, to avoid losing the way (about 500 metres), remember that the track runs parallel to the stream until it reaches Alcubilla near a small football pitch.
