This fortress is formed by two towers and two parallel walls that join them. The first tower had a quadrangular floor plan, though it fell down towards the end of the 19th century leaving behind what we can see nowadays. The second tower had a pentagonal floor plan and was built after the first one, towards the end of the 14th century. It was built over another building from the 12th or 13th century, and due to the characteristics, it is suggested that the previous building was a Muslim edification.
