Portaceli Monestry, Serra
The monastery is integrated in an architectural complex with a gothic temple with cloisters, wine cellars, the All Saints funerary chapel, a renaissance cloister in the graveyard, chapterhouse, refectory, a one-eyed staircase of a 25metre opening form 1803 and the aqueduct from 1412. Also, in the area, there are different chapels that have been remodelled in different moments. Inside, there is an outstanding painting collection that houses examples of Alonso Cano’s work. The whole complex has been declared of cultural interest (BIC), but it can’t be visited because it still is a cloistered monastery.
