Irregular surface for cycling tourists between Montuenga de Soria and Santa María de Huerta

The route between the two towns includes an earth track with a firm surface that might be uncomfortable for cycling tourists with narrow wheels. It’s a section less than 4 kilometres long, until a tarmac road is reached in the proximity of Santa María de Huerta. As an alternative, cyclists who wish to avoid earth tracks can take the SO-P3044 road to the A-2 motorway. They can then ride carefully for 2 kilometres along the hard shoulder of the acceleration lane before taking the exit to Santa María de Huerta.
