Mirambel, a historical-artistic centre since 1980, is a small, well-conserved town, known for the harmony of its streets, its medieval layout and mansions.
Mirambel’s treasures seem to be hidden behind the walls that surround the town and which still conserve their medieval gates. The most significant, The Gate of the Nuns, with its attractive lattice windows and attached turret, is probably the most photographed monument in the town. In addition, its castle is one of the many Templar fortresses in the area.
