The complete series Camino del Cid, diario de una ciclista is now available on our YouTube channel, a production that was broadcast on La 2 of Televisión Española in 2023 and which was a great success with audiences of over 5 million viewers.
This thirteen-episode documentary series is presented by the writer and journalist specialising in cycling, Ainara Hernando. Over the course of almost 2,000 kilometres, Ainara covers the most outstanding towns and places on this route, crossing the eight provinces that make up the route: Burgos, Soria, Guadalajara, Zaragoza, Teruel, Castellón, Valencia and Alicante.
The series not only captures the physical and personal challenge of cycling this route, but also the beauty of the landscapes and the cultural richness of the small villages along the way. It is a biketrip in which the viewer can discover these places and their inhabitants through the conversations and interviews that Ainara has with the different protagonists she meets along the way.
Cycle tourism is one of the main commitments of the Camino del Cid Consortium, which seeks to promote this modality as a sustainable and enriching way of getting to know the territory.
