THE CAMINO DEL CID ROUTE PRESENTS ITS OFFER AT THE UTRECHT CYCLE TOURISM TRADE FAIR

Presentación 2025 Fiets en Wandelbeurs, Utrecht

The Camino del Cid route has presented its cycling tourism offer this weekend in Utrecht, in the Netherlands, during the 2025th edition of Fiets en Wandelbeurs, one of the most important events on hiking, cycling and active tourism that take place in Europe.

It is not the first time that the Camino del Cid (El Cid Way) is presented at this fair, as the route has been regularly attending this international event, given the interest that it arouses among Dutch cycle tourists. On this occasion, the Camino del Cid has come together with two other routes belonging to the Cultural Routes of Spain: Vía de la Plata and Caminos de Pasión, all three with very attractive cycling tourism proposals for the public of this country.

In collaboration with the Spanish Tourist Office in The Hague, two presentations were held for the general public as well as for agencies and tour operators specialised in the sector: on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th. In both cases the rooms were full and exceeded their capacity.

The presentations were given by Hans Resing and Marion Hoogwegt, who spoke about their cycling experiences on the Camino del Cid, the Ruta Vía de la Plata and Caminos de Pasión, generating great expectation due to the diversity and richness of the offer of these three routes.

The presentation of the Camino del Cid was given by Hans Resing, a connoisseur of the route, who has cycled on several occasions, and who is responsible for the website www.fietseninspanje.nl, a page aimed at Dutch people who want to spend their holidays in Spain "by pedal power".

Fiets en Wanderbeurs has been held since 2005. It is a very popular fair predominantly aimed at the end consumer.
